Nursery School Newsletters (in pdf format):
- 2 year old program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-11am.
Note: children must be 2 years old before they can attend
- 3 year old program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-11:15am
- 4 year old program runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am-11:15am
Note: Our programs follow the Pembina Trails School Division holiday schedule, so we are closed on statutory holidays and during Christmas, Spring Break and summer vacations.

About the Program:
The Varsity View Nursery School program promotes the overall development of it’s students.
Physical and social development is emphasized during circle time and free play.
Many different play centres including water table, home living area, manipulative puzzles, blocks, puppet theatre construction, and many art activities are available to the children.
Emotional and intellectual development is stimulated through teacher directed activities, which are designed to teach many pre-school skills.
Alphabet recognition Alphabet formation Role playing, Story telling, Song singing

Social and emotional development:
Separates from parents, Plays with other cooperatively, Discusses feelings and emotions during circle time, Relates to others, Creativity, Shows initiative
Physical and motor development:
Ballet exercises with classical music according to RDA (Royal Dance Academy) Gymnastics, Walking, jumping, hopping Stretching, marching Pointing and flexing toes Copying shapes, Uses pencil, scissors, glue
Problem solving Recognizes make believe Understands five senses Draws people, Shape identification, Size comparison, Recognizing seasonal changes, Early science skills
Milana Lanstein, Nursery School Director. Milana comes to us from the Rady Jewish Community Centre where she was the Team Leader of the Preschool Program.
Penny Block and Veronica Hersak bring more than 25 years of teaching experience.
